• The Janitor is responsible for following detailed and established routines and procedures to perform janitorial and cleaning duties throughout the plant, grounds and office areas.

Quality Assurance Lab Technician

FUNCTIONS:The Quality Assurance Technician (Lab Technician) is a key member of the Quality team. The individual will be actively involved in all aspects of the Quality System. The Quality Assurance Technician (Lab Technician) reports directly to the Quality Manager or Quality Supervisor (based on business needs).

• Perform chemical sample preparation in accordance with established laboratory practices.
• Enter analytical and test data into analytical database, publish said results when required, and maintain analytical data and records.
• Develop or assist in developing analytical methods.
• In a timely manner, notify appropriate personnel when non-conformances are discovered as a result of analytical work.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma, technical school, or GED required with mathematics emphasis. Dexterity and preciseness required to operate test equipment.
Minimum of 2 years production related experience. Capable of using a measuring device.
Must be able to read and write English.
Degree preferred in Physics, Chemistry or Engineering; certified quality technician or equivalent; training in SPC, DOE and data analysis desired or equivalent years of experience.

Inside Sales Representative / Customer Service

• Prepare quotations from customer requests received via phone, fax, email or mail. Determine feasibility of production. Refer complex requests to the Product Manager, Engineering, Director of Sales or Sales Supervisor. Assure proper documentation (drawings and specifications) has been received from customer. • Must have ability to read, or to learn to read, customer drawings and specifications.

• Provide customer service by answering technical questions on products, expedite orders, and manage credit problems and customer complaints. Prepare change order forms. Manage refine settlements and provide frequent updates to internal and external customers.
• Act as liaison between WAM customers, outside sales, product management, engineering, quality and manufacturing. Develop good rapport with external and internal customers.
• Participate as part of the sales team to develop departmental goals and accomplishments. Attend sales meeting as required.
• Travel to territory when necessary.
• 3 – 5 years of experience in a related field preferred.
• Candidates should be business savvy, creative in solving business issues, self-motivated, personable, proficient at working with others and prefer to take on leadership roles on tasks.
• Solid negotiating skills are important to the success of the person filling this position.
• Must understand the difference between selling on value vs. price.
• Background in materials sciences in the Semiconductor, microelectronic, data storage, materials, process engineering is not required but would be a plus.

Chemical Stripping Operator

1. Mechanically and chemically remove precious metals from PVD shield components using appropriate chemical solutions. Etch slugs using appropriate chemical solutions.
2. After removal of precious metals from PVD shield components, clean, inspect, and package components per operating procedures. This includes the operation of the sandblaster and vacuum packaging machine.
3. Perform calculations to determine the amount of precious metals recovered from customer materials. Maintain monthly logs tracking production totals.
4. Strip gold plated lids using appropriate chemicals.
5. Maintain and operate gold recovery system.
6. Maintain and operate cyanide destruct unit, including bringing in chemicals and calibration of meters.
7. Must follow strict operating and safety procedures. Must be able to wear necessary personal protective equipment.
8. Maintain superior housekeeping in stripping and chemical areas. Ensure proper location of chemicals.
9. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and move full 55 gallon drums of chemicals.

Job Summary: The Manufacturing Operator A / C-Scan Operator is responsible for the operation of the C-Scan and work scheduling of the C-Scan to ensure a smooth work flow. The operator must also be able to perform all aspects of the Manufacturing Operator B / Bonding Technician position.

Responsible for training others on this machine.
Be able to design and build fixtures for C-Scan and Bonding.
Inspection of backing plates – both incoming and outgoing.

Preparing and bonding (or debonding) sputtering targets and backing plates.
Cleaning finished target assemblies prior to shipping.
Keeps records of all bond operations.
Maintains, sets up and operates hot plates and ovens as needed for bonding or debonding.
Maintains supplies needed for bonding operations.
Responsible for requisitioning supplies for the bond lab.
Cleans and evaluates bonded target assemblies.
Maintain equipment; perform preventive maintenance as scheduled.
Process all necessary paperwork to include analysis forms, labor data entry, and inventory records.
Responsible for all cleanliness of Bond Lab. Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures. Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.

Customer Service Manager

Manage or direct all Customer Service/Inside Sales people worldwide. Work with the various WAM sales locations along with supporting departments to enhance the customer experience when dealing with WAM sales teams. Work with the Sales Directors, Regional Sales Managers and Sales VP to ensure consistent approach to the customer service function. Analyze, develop and implement "best practices" across the customer service organization. Work with IT and related functions to integrate and standardize business systems and output throughout the global customer service organization. Provide developmental training and coaching to the inside sales groups. Provide input to monthly forecasts, customer updates and TGP metrics. Manage lead database to ensure timely response. These reports to include quote success rate, avg. order size, quote response times, etc. Directly supervise employees that are assigned to the Customer Service Manager. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Requires education generally equivalent to a 4 year degree or equivalent work experience. Knowledge of Inside Sales and/or Call Center environments, past managerial experience in an Inside Sales or Customer Service Manager's role. Experience in Material Sciences a plus but not required. This position requires approximately 30 - 40% travel to Europe, Asia and the Continental United States.
