Solder Preforms, Ribbon & Wire
Spec Analysis, large open tooling library, and over 30 years of material science support our Solder Preforms and Ribbon product lines.
The dimensional possibilities are endless! Over the years Williams has assembled a library of over 8,000 tools - built and maintained by our in-house tool and die shop; perfected machining processes for special shapes; and devised very accurate adjustable tools for low volume requests.
Solder Preforms are available in: squares, rectangles, discs, washers, and frames with standard thicknesses from 0.001" to widths up to 4.500”. Wall width of washers and frames will have an effect on the thickness availability.
Ribbon thickness ranges from 0.001” (+0.000/-0.0002”) and up based on the width that ranges from 0.015” to 4.500”.
For special shapes solder preforms, let us review your drawing to give individual consideration to radius and wall thickness in relationship to overall thickness.
