Air emissions shall be properly controlled for the protection of the environment and the community. Water shall be conscientiously used to minimize discharges. Whenever possible, the least harmful chemical and process shall be used.

Williams is committed to be prepared to respond to emergencies that may result in harm to our employees, customers, the general public, and the environment. We strive to minimize the potential for harm resulting from fire, explosion, chemical release and natural disasters. We shall continue to evaluate risks of new and existing equipment and systems.

We will strive to comply with all existing regulatory requirements pertaining to the Environment, Health and Safety of our employees. In addition, where necessary we will develop more stringent measures to protect the health and assure the safety of our employees, and protect the environment. As part of Health, Safety and Environmental continually improve program, we will:

  • Identify areas of opportunity for improvement of the environmental, health & safety management systems which lead to improved environmental, health & safety performance;
  • Determine root cause of nonconformance or deficiencies;
  • Make comparison with objectives and targets;
  • Verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions;
  • Document any changes in procedure resulting from process improvements.
