Material Management

material management

Turn manufacturing waste into revenue.

There are vast quantities of precious metals in process in our plant every day. Subsequently, we have become experts in the field of accountability and precious metal material management. Our customers are welcome to take advantage of our experience in the identification, collection, segregation and recovery of precious metal by-products.

Getting the maximum return from your scrap begins with identifying the source of the scrap and facilitating collection at the source. Collecting and identifying scrap immediately at the source will avoid future uncertainty.

After the collection your precious metal scrap, it should be separated and identified according to its quality and subsequent best recovery process. Strippable scrap should be separated from that which must be burned or melted. Floor sweepings should be kept separated from metallic scrap due to the lengthy process involved in recovering precious metals from sweeps.

Similar types of scrap should be placed in strong plastic bags, marked as to description, and placed in a sturdy container. A packing list of the contents should accompany the scrap, including the weight of each item shipped. We recommend that you ship your scrap via a secure carrier, adequately insured to cover the value of the shipment.
