WAMBRAZE™ Solder Alloys
A vacuum cast process is used to produce "ultra clean" brazing alloys.
High-purity vacuum cast materials are manufactured by Williams in a variety of solder alloys, including gold brazing alloys for electronic packaging and high temperature joining vacuum electronic devices. All of our solder alloys and gold brazing alloys are available in a variety of shapes and forms, including ribbon, preform, ring and wire. Custom shapes can also be produced using our state-of-the-art design and fabrication equipment. Powders are available in select WAMBRAZE™ alloys.
Trace Impurities for Brazing Alloys:
- C: 50 ppm max.
- P and Pb*: 20 ppm max.
- Ca*, Cd*, Cs*, Li*, Mg*, Na*, Rb*, S*, Sb*, Se*, Sr*, Te*, Ti*, Zn*: each 10ppm Max.
- Total* 100 ppm max
- Hg: None detected
Impurity Limits
All other impurities having a vapor pressure higher than 10-7 mm Hg at 500 degrees C are limited to 10 ppm max. Impurities having a vapor pressure lower than 10-7 mm Hg at 500 degrees C are limited to a total of 50 ppm max.
