What is Sil-XL™?

Sil-XL™ is a proprietary, Patent Pending silver based alloy developed by Williams Advanced Materials for the Reflective (L1) and Semi- Reflective (L0) layers in DVD discs. This alloy represents the next generation in alloy development and has been tested and qualified by Cinram (WAMO). Sil-XL™ offers the same superior jitter and reflectivity characteristics after environmental testing, as compared to our world renowned Sil-X™ product.
