A complete range of materials for thermal (resistive) and electron beam evaporation is available. A variety of shapes and sizes are produced, including evaporation slugs, wire, rod, pellets, granules and starter sources.
Williams Advanced Materials provides standard elemental evaporation materials and is also adept at complex composite synthesis and/or alloy preparation for hot pressed ceramics and vacuum cast materials. Our labs employ a range of melting, crushing, screening, and blending techniques to formulate non-standard and one of a kind R&D compounds. Complete material characterization is performed and provided on all evaporation materials, including evaporation slugs.
Thermal (resistive) and E-beam evaporation slugs and wire deposition processes are enhanced with our EVAPro™ material. EVAPro™ is a proprietary technology of Williams Advanced Materials that causes ultra-low internal gas entrapments and ensures the lowest defect count per wafer, from the initial soaking time to the last evaporation run.
